Victor Green Discusses Jets \ Steelers

by Phil Sullivan on January 21, 2011 Editor Tyson Rauch had a chance this week to chat with former Jets great Victor Green.  Green played for the Jets for nine of his eleven seasons in the NFL.  The hard hitting safety talks about:

  • The 1998 Jets and the heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos in the Championship game
  • What it would be like to play for a coach like Rex Ryan
  • Darrelle Revis the “beast”
  • Curtis Martin’s bid for the Hall of Fame

Green also talks about the Jets victory over the Patriots last week and discusses in-depth how Troy Polamalu plays the game and what makes him great.

Victor is a part owner of Class Act Sports and is doing a lot of interviews.  Give it a look Jets fans, there is a Wayne Chrebet interview on the front page.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
