Jets Reduce Roster To 53; Jordan White Cut

by Phil Sullivan on August 31, 2012

The New York Jets have announced that they have reduced their roster to 53 players.   The transactions appear below.  The biggest surprise on this list is Jordan White.  He had a strong camp and seemed to catch everything possible.  This means that the Jets have cut both 6th round draft picks (Ganaway and Griffin) and one 7th round pick (White).  A banner day for the NY Jets draft department.

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
