During the Texans \ Raiders game last night I downloaded the WinView Games Ultimate Live Football Predictions app on my android phone. This is a real time app that lets you make predictions live during the game. You enter a contest by choosing a football game from the lobby schedule and then you join a free competition room (20 people). All you have to do next is predict the plays on the field in real time.winview

It is very interactive, and the options can be as simple as deciding if the next play will be a run or a pass. Or more involved by trying to predict if the team with the ball will get multiple first downs on that drive. There are even team related goals in the head-to-head sense; Houston passes for more yards than Oakland is one of the options that appeared for the 3rd quarter.

The app is free and you can create an account and bet points. They have a leaderboard but you can also challenge friends to play. That reminded me a lot of watching the Super Bowls with a group of friends. The next play will be a pass, my team will score on this drive. Sitting around watching a game with friends always seems to lead to a lot of prop bets for fun. This app by WinView definitely has the same feel, allowing you to enjoy the game while you predict the outcomes of plays in the game, as opposed to just picking the winner and loser of the game itself.

You can actually win money with this app. During the contest, a user checks their ranking on the app’s Room Leaderboard. At the end of each contest, the top 6 players out of 20 are awarded WinCoins™, an in-app virtual currency, which can be accumulated and redeemed for real cash payouts.

We recommend you check out the apps which can be dowloaded for free:

I started JetNation in 2005 and have been a New York Jets season ticket holder since graduating from high school. My dream is to see the New York Jets win the Super Bowl. Until then, I will be right here on JetNation writing, dreaming and talking NY Jets football.
