Stacy Tutt
Stacy Tutt was a fullback for the New York Jets from 2006 to 2007.

Background and college

Born August 8, 1982 in Tappahannock, Virginia, Tutt attended Essex HS in Tappahannock, where he lettered three years each in football, basketball and baseball. He also spent a year at Fork Union Military Academy, lettering in football. Tutt went to the University of Richmond where he was a star quarterback. he was one of the most explosive offensive players in school history. His 6,872 yards of total offense rank him second all-time in school annals. He finished his career with 5,318 passing yards—the third most in school history—while his 160 points are fourth on the Spiders' career list.

NFL Career

As a Jet

Tutt signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jets in May 2006, and spent the first 14 games of the season on the practice squad. He was signed from the practice squad, and appeared in the last two games of the 2006 season, recording no stats. Tutt appeared in the first 8 games of the 2007 season, but again recorded no stats. On November 7, Tutt was placed on IR, ending his season. Tutt was re-signed by the Jets to an exclusive-rights contract in February 2008, but in April, he was released by the Jets.
