NY Jets Sign Kyle Wilson

The New York Jets have signed their first round draft pick Kyle Wilson.  He will report to training camp and will be on time for the first full team practice scheduled for this Monday, 8/2/10.

As per Adam Schefter on twitter:

@Adam_Schefter Jets first-round pick Kyle Wilson signed a five-year, $13 million max value deal that includes $7.12 million guaranteed.

Mike Tannenbaum who recently signed his own contract extension has done a good job once again.  Wilson will the the 3rd cornerback on the team behind Darelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie.  He will be counted on heavily against teams like the Patriots and the Colts that like to go with multiple receiver sets and spread the defense out.
