The Jets made some roster moves over the weekend. Kevin Basped a rookie linebacker from Nevada-Reno was waived along with Aaron Kia a tackle from Hawaii. The Jets also signed OL Adam Tadisch.
Moves this early in training camp are often related to injuries and that was definitely the case with Basped, he was not 100%.
NFL teams have to cut the roster down to 75 players by September 1. The final roster must be set at 53 players by September 5.
