October 25, 2010 – The New York Jets have signed T Andre Ramsey to the practice squad. The announcement was made by General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Ramsey (T/6-5/322/Ball State/Cordele, CA) was waived by the Buffalo Bills on September 4, 2010, after initially being signed to the team’s practice squad on September 23, 2009. Ramsey played two games for Buffalo in 2009. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks on April 26, 2009, before joining Buffalo. A four-year starter at left tackle, Ramsey earned all-conference honors with Ball State his senior year in 2008.
