Week 10 NFL Picks

Finally a week to be proud of as I went 11-2 in week 9, for a season total of 73-57.  Maybe I can make a late season run like the San Diego Chargers seem to do every year.  Here are my picks for week 10.

Bills over the Lions- Call me crazy but I think this game is going to be a shootout and will take the feisty Bills to find a way to pull it out. Bills 27-24

Vikings over the  Bears- I think Minnesota has one more solid performance in them before the Favre scandal explodes.  At that point Randy Moss may be happy that he was waived.  Vikings 21-17

Colts over the Bengals- If Chad Ochocinco put as much time working on his routes as he does on his television shows the Bengals would not be 2-6.  Almost quitting time in Cincy.  Colts 31-17

Texans over the Jags- Houston cannot completely fall apart again can they? Texans 28-21

Titans over the Dolphins- Cannot believe the Dolphins pulled the plug on Chad Henne already.  Pennington will struggle against the physical Titans.  Titans 24-14

Buccaneers over the Panthers- Just what the doctor ordered for Tampa Bay: a team they should beat up. Buccaneers 27-10

Chiefs over the Broncos- Kansas City has come back to reality and must beat the struggling Broncos.  At what point is Josh McDaniels job in jeopardy? Chiefs 20-10

Cardinals over the Seahawks- Not really a believer in either of these teams, so will just go with the home team.  Cardinals 21-20

Giants over the Cowboys- This has the makings of an ugly game as Big Blue’s defense may tee off on Jon Kitna.  Don’t look now but Eli is having an MVP type season.  Giants 31-14

Rams over the 49ers- If Sam Bradford continues to play at this level, St. Louis is headed to the playoffs.  Rams 13-10

Steelers over the Patriots- This could be one of the best games of the weekend as both teams are legitimate contenders.  Will take the more physical Pittsburgh defense to make big plays to win the game.  Steelers 24-20

Eagles over the Redskins- Mike Shanahan’s benching of McNabb still does not make sense and ruffled too many feathers in the locker room.  This could be the beginning of the end for Washington’s playoff hopes.  Eagles 28-17

New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns

Last week the Jets survived a scare from the Lions, while the Browns mauled the Patriots.  Will Cleveland’s strong play continue? Can the Browns push the Jets around on defense?  Can Gang Green slow down Peyton Hillis? Will the Jets continue their sloppy play? Find out this Sunday in my game preview.
