Jets Tomlinson To Host Student Camp, Charity Event

As part of his Touching Lives Foundation New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson will be hosting two football camps for student athletes.  “Camp LT”, which will be held in Texas, will offer students the chance to work on not only their athletic skills, but their life skills as well.

From LaDainian:

“My foundation facilitates a football camp that provides an invaluable opportunity for kids to work one-on-one with some of professional and college football’s most dynamic players and coaches.

In addition to outstanding advancement in athletic ability, our student athletes receive instruction on academic excellence, teamwork, discipline, healthy lifestyle, accountability, leadership, and self-esteem.

Growing up, attending football camp was nearly unattainable and my mother worked hard to help provide me the opportunity to attend camps where I could learn.

As a result, a pivotal part of my non profit camp is our scholarship program for deserving families. My foundation partners with other non profits by extending scholarships for disadvantaged youth to attend our camps who would normally not have the resources to attend.

I hope you will continue to work with me in continuing this program for our communities and help these youth realize their full potential.”

Tomlinson to host Charity Event: As part of the “Camp LT” program, LaDainian Tomlinson will be hosting a charity dinner on June 30th at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.  For more information please see www.CampLT.com
