On the verge of the draft, the Raiders are interested in hiring the Jets’ vice president of college scouting Joey Clinkscales. Clinkscales and current Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie were teammates at the University of Tennessee so they are familiar with each other unlike when Clinkscales was looking at St.Louis earlier this offseason for their GM position.
For now we have no clue what position he would be placed at if the Raiders were to hire him and what kind of impact this would have on the Jets draft as Clinkscales was involved in drafting current starting QB Sanchez and 0 sacks in 3 years Gholston.
