New Offensive Tackle Jeff Otah Fails Physical – Will Begin Camp On PUP List With Campbell, Davis, Landry And White

New York Jets

Newly acquired offensive tackle Jeff Otah has failed his physical (knee) and will begin training camp on the active physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list.  He will join safety LaRon Landry (ankle), receiver Jordan White (foot), linebacker Demario Davis (hamstring) and offensive guard Terrence Campbell (hamstring) on the active PUP list.

Players must be placed on the active PUP list before training camp begins and may not practice with the team.  They are allowed to attend meetings and can be removed from the PUP list to the active roster once they are healthy enough to do so during camp.

They could be moved to the reserve PUP list if not ready by the end of camp.  Once on reserve PUP the player cannot return until after the sixth regular season game.

Check out our JetNation forums for more on Otah.
