Jets Release Offensive Linemen Heyer

New York Jets

The Jets made a roster move today as they released OT/OG Stephen Heyer.  A 21 game starter for the Washington Redskins in 2009 and 2010, Heyer played with the Oakland Raiders last season appearing in 12 games, starting two.

Heyer was the most experienced back-up offensive linemen on the Jets roster but it looks like they will keep Austin Howard, Vladimir Ducasse and Caleb Schlauderaff as reserves.
