Revis Suffers "Mild" Concussion Against Bills; May Not Play Against Steelers

As reported earlier on JetNation, Jets Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis suffered a “mild” concussion in last Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills and his status for this week’s game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers was unknown.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports, “essentially he (Revis) looks to be a go at this point in time.” But will have to pass some additional test administered by the Jets during the week.

While Revis seems likely to play Sunday, JetNation will continue to follow his progress and report updates as they become available.

Update:

  • Revis cleared for physical activity.
  • Coach Ryan expects to know Revis’ status by Saturday.
