The Jets have waived defensive lineman Marcus Dixon. This is the second time this season which Dixon has been released by the team. He was let go before the season began, was resigned before the first game, and has played in all three games this season recording one tackle. It is possible the Jets resign Dixon at some point during the remainder of the season.
