Well Jets fans, the preseason is officially over. The Jets closed it out with a 27 – 20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Matt Simms was 33/44 for 280 yards and further strengthened his bid for the 3rd QB job. Khalil Bell rushed for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and made another claim to the 3rd running back position, at least until Mike Goodson returns from his 4 game suspension.
What is next? NFL rosters must be trimmed to 53 players by August 31st at 6pm. JetNation will have all the news as it happens.
