New York Jets Shake Up The Practice Squad Roster

Today the New York Jets Cut Line Backer Troy Davis from the practice squad per Rich Cimini from ESPN New York.

Rich Cimini hinted that the Jets tried out some Running Backs possibly as a precaution to Chris Ivory’s recent injury (Ham String) which he suffered during Sunday’s night football game versus the Buffalo Bills.

The word quickly spread that the Jets had signed Running Back Kareem Huggins to the practice squad. The 27 year old Running Back is listed as 5’9″ 198 Lbs and is a Hofstra University alumni. Huggins suffered an ACL tear in 2010 and is now being giving an opportunity by the Jets to add depth to the Running Back position.
