NY Jets 4th Round Draft Selections (Saunders, Evans & Dozier)

Day three of the NFL draft is underway ant the Jets have made their 4th round selections.

Jalen Saunders – Wide Receiver (104th overall)

Saunders is a smaller receiver who projects to play out of the slot and be a possible returner, he averaged 10.5 yards on punt returns in college.  He needs to bulk up but he adds speed to the wide receiver position.

Shaquelle Evans – Wide Receiver (115th overall)

Another wide receiver who returned punts in college.  CBS Sports says he doesn’t project to be a returner in the pros.  Very muscular frame and good size on the 6’1 213 lb wideout.

Dakota Dozier – Guard (137th overall)

Guard is a position of need for the Jets, so Dozier will have a nice opportunity with the Jets.  Here is how he projects according to CBS Sports:

Dozier’s athleticism and movement skills are some of the most impressive in this year’s class of O-linemen, but he has some room to grow in terms of technique and will need to be prepared to play with better physicality if he’s to have an immediate impact at the next level.
