Jace Amaro to IR, Done for Season

By Glenn Naughton

In a surprising move today, the New York Jets announced that second-year tight end/H-back Jace Amaro will miss the entire 2015 season with a torn labrum.  Head coach Todd Bowles informed the media of the development today.

Amaro was thought to be on the mend for what was only being described as a shoulder injury, but obviously it wasn’t quite that simple.

This opens the door for fellow second-year player Quincy Enunwa who we highlighted earlier today as a player who was getting a look at Amaro’s projected H-back spot.

Jets fans must be wondering when the draft choices made by the since-departed John Idzik will stop making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
