Today is Veterans Day and we would like to thank all the brave men and women that have served this great country. We appreciate your service and we thank you.
As the Jets get set to take on the Buffalo Bills at home on Thursday we want to make one small request. If you stand for a Jet, stand for a vet. There are several opportunities throughout each home game to thank a veteran for their service. So many great organizations are doing amazing things to salute our veterans. Each week several veterans are usually on the big screen.
Stand up and applaud them.
Most people do. This should be 100% though, the same way everyone stands and cheers when the Jets score a touchdown. Our veterans deserve a much bigger ovation.
