Jets add Safety Ronald Martin, Waive DL TJ Barnes

In dire need of help at the safety position, the Jets have waived defensive lineman TJ Barnes to make room for safety Ronald Martin.

We have signed S Ronald Martin to the active roster and waived DL T.J. Barnes.

The Jets are without safeties Calvin Pryor and Dion Bailey who will both be inactive with ankle injuries.

Barnes, a project defensive lineman could be added to the practice squad if he manages to clear waivers.
