Dom Cosentino is reporting that the New York Jets have tendered a qualifying offer to restricted free agent wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins.
The tender will allow the Jets to match any offers made to Thompkins as a restricted free agent but no compensation will be rewarded to the Jets should they decide not to match any offer leading to Thompkins’ departure.
