The Jets were back on the field on Tuesday and they were in pads once again. Joe Blewett from JetNation Radio covered the practice for us and you can read the updates he tweeted live and also be sure to listen to the full recap Joe and Glenn did on our NY Jets Podcast.
Sheldon Richardson was back with the Jets after being excused for personal reasons. Head coach Todd Bowles said that he will play with the 1’s all camp because he suspension is only 1 game.
Matt Forte was back on the field but Bowles said he wasn’t worried about rushing him back and will just get him some work little by little.
Darrelle Revis participated in 11 on 11’s which was progress since the Jets are easing him back in slowly.
James Carpenter was activated from the PUP list and spent time with the first team. Coach Bowles said he doesn’t expect anyone else to be removed from the PUP soon.
Zach Sudfeld (knee) did not practice. Bernard Pierce also sat out with a hamstring injury.
