Jets Waive Fullback Julian Howsare

By Glenn Naughton

After surprising onlookers just a few weeks ago by retaining undrafted linebacker/fullback Julian Howsare on their 53-man roster, the Jets have waived the second-year player.

Having parted ways with incumbent fullback Tommy Bohannon, Gang Green is now without a traditional fullback on their roster.  Recently signed tight end Braedon Bowman is the early favorite to take Howsare’s roster spot.

Don’t be surprised to see Howsare brought back to the Jets practice squad once he clears waivers.
