By Glenn Naughton

The New York Jets have announced that head coach Todd Bowles has been hospitalized

with an undisclosed illness and as a result, has not traveled with the team to New England for Saturday’s divisional match up.

The head coach is said to be in stable condition, according to the report.

If Bowles is unable to make the trip, assistant head coach Mike Caldwell will take the reigns.
