NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jets have released running back Travaris Cadet.
Jets released veteran RB/returner Travaris Cadet, who does not have to go through waivers and is now free to sign with another team.

The move should come as little surprise with Matt Forte back at full strength.
