Rapoport: Jets to Sign D-Lineman Xavier Cooper

NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Jets are set to sign free agent defensive lineman Xavier Cooper.

Former #49ers DE Xavier Cooper is signing with the #Jets, source said. The third-rounder from 2015 started with the #Browns.

A third round pick in 2015, the 6′ 4” 298lb Cooper has appeared in 32 career games (2 starts) as a member of the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers, picking up 46 tackles (25 solo) and 1.5 sacks.
