Demario Davis Gets Pro-Bowl Snub; Adams, McCown Named Alternates

Demario Davis JN

Every year when Pro-Bowl rosters are announced, there are a few clear snubs on the list and this year the Jets have one of the biggest in linebacker Demario Davis who is in the midst of a career year.  Davis currently ranks 8th in the NFL with 117 tackles and comes in 4th with 84 solo tackles and a fumble recovery.

Among inside linebackers with over 100 tackles, Davis is one of just two players with 5 sacks, the other being Tennesse Titans linebacker Wesley Woodyard.

While there were no starters recognized, rookie safety Jamal Adams was named a 3rd alternate with quarterback Josh McCown getting a 5th alternate spot.
