PFF Highlights Adams in Season-Ending Loss

Other than moving up a couple of slots in the draft on the final day of the 2017 season to sixth overall, the Jets didn’t have a whole lot to be happy about.  As usual, the folks at profootballfocus.com released a snap shot of the best and worst performers for Gang Green, and rookie Jamal Adams may have played his best game as a pro.

Spending time supporting the run and covering all-world tight end Rob Gronkowski, Adams played a big role in holding the big tight end without a catch for the first time in his career, earning an overall grade of 89.1.

Also making an appearance was rarely used tight end Neal Sterling (81.3) who hauled in 5 catches for 74 yards after managing just one catch over the season’s first 15 games.

Demario Davis (85.6), Morris Claiborne 82.3) and Kelvin Beachum 76.6) filled out the remainder of the top five.
