Fan Poll Shows Darnold’s Agent Viewed as Culprit in Negotiations

As the Jets wrap up their third day of practice at Florham Park without third overall pick Sam Darnold in uniform, it looks like Jets fans are largely united in who’s at the root of the impasse between team and player, and that would be Darnold’s agent, Jimmy Sexton.

The reasons behind the actual holdout feel like they’re changing by the hour, and while all will be forgiven as soon as Darnold shows up, firing Sexton might not be the worst idea in the world, and judging by the reaction of the fans, there wouldn’t be many objections to Darnold sacking Sexton.
