Jets add Quarterback John Wolford

Looking to find an arm to take some snaps for their fourth preseason game, the Jets have signed quarterback John Wolford.

A former Wake Forest star, Wolford was with the Jets as a tryout player back in May who we talked about right here.  He’ll likely see plenty of action against the Eagles as the Jets close out their preseason before opening up against the Lions on September 10th.

To make room for Wolford, the Jets waived wide receiver Lucky Whitehead.

Glenn Naughton
