Darnold era Officially set to Begin

The worst kept secret in sports is no longer “under wraps” as Jets head coach Todd Bowles has officially named rookie quarterback Sam Darnold as the team’s starter when they open the season on September 10th against the Detroit Lions on the road.

At 21 years and 97 days old, Darnold will become the youngest starting quarterback since the NFL merger while Gang Green hope is the first of many starts for over a decade.
