While addressing the media after practice today, Jets Head Coach Todd Bowles addressed the neck injury that has ended the season of Jets running back Bilal Powell as he was place on injured reserve today.
Bilal Powell will have neck surgery, Bowles said. He said it’s “possible” that it could be career threatening. #Jets

As if having his season ended prematurely wasn’t bad enough, Bowles said that Powell’s injury will mean surgery for a possibly career ending injury.
