Jets Injury Updates: Darnold, Bell & Mosley

The Jets were hit hard with injuries this week, losing Quincy Enunwa for the season and it seems like Sam Darnold will be out for several weeks. One bit of good news is Adam Gase said they aren’t considering IR for Darnold, “No, we will get him back. It’s not going to be that long”.

Le’Veon Bell had a sore shoulder so the team did a precautionary MRI. The news there was good with no tear and Adam Gase says the injury didn’t happen in the game.

I think he was very aggressive in Wednesday’s practice. I think he probably was a little too aggressive on Wednesday after playing 71 plays on Sunday.

Some other injury updates from Adam Gase:

Alright, injury update. 57 (C.J. Mosley) and 95 (Quinnen Williams) same thing, progressing, we’ll see where we are at tomorrow. DT (Demaryius Thomas) looks like we will get him in practice tomorrow. 26 (Le’Veon Bell) will be good to practice tomorrow, so everything came out alright. 56 (John Franklin-Myers), he’ll practice tomorrow as well. That’s all I got.

On if C.J. Mosley could practice tomorrow…

We will see after today. They have a lot of stuff going on today with time to recover and things like that. With him, I wouldn’t count him out, either one of those guys (Mosley or Williams), just because they are two Bama (Alabama) guys, fast healers.

Here is the full injury report from the team.
