Cowherd: Jets Reaching out to Coach Agents, Gase Could be Gone This Week

After being throttled yet again this Sunday, sports anchor Colin Cowherd is reporting that the Jets have started reaching out to possible replacements.  After the 36-7 drubbing

suffered at the hands of the Colts, there were calls for Gase to be removed.  Now it seems the Jets are considering it according to Cowherd:

“I have been told that the Jets owners have reached out to agents to ask about coaching possibilities. Thursday would be my guess for what could be Adam Gase’s last day as a New York Jets head coach.”

Check out our NY Jets video below.

If Gase is in fact let go, expect defensive coordinator Gregg Williams to be elevated to interim head coach with running backs coach Jim Bob Cooter taking over as the team’s offensive coordinator.
