Jets Release CB Pierre Desir

The New York Jets have announced the release of cornerback Pierre Desir after nine very disappointing games with Gang Green.

Expected to play a major role for the Jets in 2020, Desire has been a punching bag in coverage and was heavily criticized for his lackluster effort on a long pass  play against the New England Patriots last week.

With Desir out the door, this will open the door for rookie cornerback Bryce Hall who got his feet wet with a few reps on Monday night but could now see a significant uptick in his reps over the season’s second half.
