Report: Gase to be Fired After Sunday’s Game, Joe Douglas to Lead Head Coaching Search

In a report that should be music to the ears of Jets fans far and wide, uStadium’s NFL coverage team says they have contacted a source within the Jets organization who confirmed that the team’s recent pair of wins will not rescue Adam Gase as the failed head coach will be fired after the season with Joe Douglas leading the search for a replacement.

The team reportedly decided several weeks ago that Gase would be shown the door and they’ve started looking for potential replacements.

uStadium also claims that the team has not yet made up their minds regarding the future of quarterback Sam Darnold and the team’s new coach will have input on whether or not the signal caller stays or goes.
