Bless Out, Ficken Waived; Other Moves & Injury Report

There is one game left in the season and the Jets are locked in with their draft position at 2nd overall. That means it is safe to root for them on Sunday vs the New England Patriots. There are reports of several roster moves involving cornerback Bless Austin, kicker Sam Ficken, guard Greg Van Roten and a few others.

Here are the roster moves that are being reported:

Adam Gase was asked about the possibility of guard Cameron Clark getting his first playing time of the year.

We’ll see how the game goes. Whoever is active, I always look at be ready to go in a game like this. I have done that in the past, to just kind of see the reaction and also how a guy plays against a defense like this where the scheme is not easy to deal with. You don’t want to put anybody in harm’s way, especially the quarterback. That’s the last thing you want is when you put in a young offensive lineman, you need to feel confident. The last few weeks, Cameron has been active, so in my mind he should be ready to go. It’s always a possibility, but at the same time we’re trying to win a game.
