Becton, Cashman, Joyner and Mann all Head to IR for Jets, Vet Linebacker and Punter Signed

The Jets suffered a fair number of notable injuries in their season-opening loss to the Carolina Panthers and placed several players on injured reserve while adding some veteran replacements.

Left tackle Mekhi Becton, linebacker Blake Cashman, safety Lemarcus Joyner and punter Braden Mann have all been placed on injured reserve.  To counter those moves, the Jets signed veteran linebacker CJ Goodson and punter Thomas Morsted while adding safety Jarrod Wilson and offensive lineman Isaiah Williams.

The Jets also added offensive tackle Elijah Nkansah to their practice squad along with linebacker Noah Dawkins who was let go following the preseason after a solid showing.
