Jets Legend Don Maynard Passes Away at 86

According to the NFL Football Hall of Fame, for Jets wide receiver and Hall of Famer Don Maynard has passed away at the age of 86-years-old.

Sad news: #Jets legend Don Maynard, a member of the Pro Football HOF and the Jets' Super Bowl III championship team, has passed away, the @ProFootballHOF announced. He was 86. RIP to one of the best to ever do it.

Maynard, a member of the Jets lone Super Bowl team in 1969, finished his career with 11,834 yards receiving and 88 touchdowns.  He would post a career high 1,434 yards in 1967 and four times averaged better than 20 yards per catch.
