Jets Retain Kicker Greg Zuerlein

Greg Zuerlein gave the Jets the best season they’ve had out of a kicker in 2022 and the free agent to be is hanging around a bit longer after Joe Douglas and company gave him a new deal.

Kickers are important too.
The Jets have re-signed their kicker Greg Zuerlein, per source.

While there are no specifics on the terms of the deal as of yet, Dianna Russini of ESPN is reporting that Zuerlein is staying put with Gang Green.

The kicker who is ofter referred to as “Greg the leg” hit on 30 of 37 kicks in 2022 (81%) including a team record 60-yarder in a week 13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
