Jets Beef up Pass Rush With Selection of Will McDonald

Robert Saleh loves his pass rushers, and he just got another good one in Will McDonald out of Iowa State with the 15th pick in the NFL draft

.

The Jets opened some eyes when they snagged one of this year’s most athletic pass rushers which they will add to what is already one of the league’s top defenses.

An athletic freak, McDonald had a RAS (Relative Athletic Score) of 9.66 after his individual workouts.  While McDonald logged just 5 sacks last season playing on the inside, he picked up 22 sacks over the previous two seasons.

With Carl Lawson on one side and Quinnen Williams taking up blockers in the middle, don’t be surprised if it turns out the Jets just drafted another defensive rookie of the year.
