Joe Tippmann Named to All-Rookie Team

One of the few bright spots on offense for the Jets in 2023 was the play of rookie center Joe Tippmann

who has been named to the Pro Football Writers Association all-rookie team.

The second round pick out of Wisconsin appeared in sixteen games (14 starts) at both guard and center, more than holding his own.

According to pro football focus, Tippmann allowed just three sacks in 578 pass block reps.  A highly touted prospect out of college Tippmann figures to be a long-term solution for the Jets along the interior.  Whether that’s at center or guard remains to be seen.
