NFL Salary cap to see $30 Million Increase

Joe Douglas

Good news for cash strapped teams such as the New York Jets as the NFL salary cap is going to be going up by roughly $30 million for the 2024 season.  This, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

With less than $5 million in cap space, this news will be warmly received by Joe Douglas and company.  The Jets GM will also have some more moves to make that will free up additional cash.  Expect the Jets to either release or re-work contracts for CJ Mosley, John Franklin-Myers, CJ Uzomah, Laken Tomlinson, DJ Reed and others.
