Seemingly moments after his arrival, the Jets have immediately re-structured the contract of star wide receiver Davante Adams. No specifics have been provided as of yet but the story was reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Davante Adams and the Jets have re-worked the superstars contract to reduce his cap hit this season.
The re-worked deal reduces Adams’ cap hit for 2024 and may be a move by the Jets to free up as much space as possible should the team work out a deal with disgruntled edge rusher Haason Reddick.
