The 3-7 Jets host the 4-6 Indianapolis Colts, with a chance to prolong a lost season for two more weeks before entering the bye. Offensively, veteran left tackle Tyron Smith left the game last week with a neck injury, and is out for this game. Rookie Olu Fashanu will step in at his preferred position and make his first career start on the left side. Wide receiver Davante Adams, who was on the injury report with an illness and wrist injury, is expected to play. Defensively, linebacker CJ Mosley is reported to be dealing with a herniated disk in his neck, per Dennis Waszak of the Associated Press. If he is 100%, he is expected to be back after the bye week against the Seahawks. Veteran safety Chuck Clark was activated from the IR, so the secondary gets a boost. For the fourth straight week, New York is expected to trot out their 4th different kicker. After Greg Zuerlein was placed on Injured Reserved, they saw Riley Patterson, Spencer Schrader and now Anders Carlson as the man for the job.
