Add Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich to the growing list of candidates to interview for the Jets head coaching job. In what has become akin to a round of speed-dating, the Jets front office is completing interviews for a new GM and head coach at a breakneck pace.
In all the Jets have interviewed 22 different candidates for the vacant positions. Nine different interviews have been conducted for a head coach with another 13 for general manager.
The search has been so extensive to this point that one may start to wonder if the Jets are being thorough, or if they just have no idea what it is they’re looking for in either spot.
