Garrett Wilson Says Jets are his Long-Term Plan; Aaron Glenn Impact

In somewhat of a surprising development today at 1 Jets Drive, star wide receiver Garrett Wilson met with the media and said he wants to work out a long-term deal with the team.
Often down, despondent and downtrodden as the losses have piled up in recent years, there was some speculation that Wilson would want to go play for a proven winner. But that’s not the case according to the ascending young star.
“I want to be a Jet for life. I’m going to do my part to make it undeniable” were his exact words to Jets scribes earlier today.
Wilson did say he’s unhappy while the team is losing, but apparently that hasn’t done much to nudge him to seek greener pastures elsewhere.
Some other notes from OTA’s:
- Undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Quentin Skinner showed off his hands with a diving catch on a ball from Adrian Martinez according to Dan Leberfeld of Jets Confidential.
- Will McDonald has reportedly add fifteen pounds this offseason. A big development as he looks to become a better all-around defender.
- Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams said he was wrong to have tweeted out that the team was up for another rebuild after Aaron Rodgers was sent packing.
- Head coach Aaron Glenn said he likes what he has seen from Justin Fields and that the signal caller isn’t trying to be a “celebrity quarterback”.
