Jermaine Johnson Says “All is Well” as he Starts out on PUP

No need to worry about news breaking of Jets defensive end Jermaine Johnson starting the preseason on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list as training camp opens up.

According to Johnson’s own twitter account, “all is well” regarding his health but both he and the Jets want to “move slow” as he works his way back from a torn achilles.

Entering his fourth pro season, Johnson was trending in the right direction after picking up 7.5 sacks in his second pro season.  He entered 2024 with high expectations before the week two injury put him on the shelf for the remainder of the year.

Now ready to return and pair with Will McDonald to form what Jets fans hope will be a fearsome pass rush, Johnson is ready to get rolling, but will take it slow early on.
