The New York Jets are grinding in Florham Park, which means that the NFL’s regular season is around the corner. With Week 1’s matchup with the Steelers creeping closer, the window to place a season-long Jets bet is shrinking.
Unfortunately, the Justin Fields injury has also paused Jets markets on a few sportsbooks temporarily, but there’s still plenty of season-long options to browse before the season kicks off. Here’s a look at some New York Jets futures bets, all sourced from the top sports betting sites in New York.
New York Jets Team Futures
Armed with a new coaching staff, a new quarterback, and shiny new contracts for two of the team’s brightest stars, the New York Jets are trying to improve upon 2024’s 5-12 campaign. Let’s see what Vegas thinks.
Win Total: O/U 5.5
There were a few missed opportunities last season that cost the team victories, defeats that the locker room hopes will be learning opportunities rather than a trend. The Jets also project to have one of the NFL’s easier schedules this season.
Despite that, books think that the Jets will finish with a roughly similar record again in 2025. One bounce could’ve been the difference between five and six wins last year. Six wins are a hurdle that the Jets can clear this season.

To Make Playoffs
Every Jets fan knows this number by now. Gang Green’s 14-year playoff drought is tied for the longest active stretch across America’s professional sports leagues.
However, every streak ends eventually, and the NFL has a surprising playoff team or two almost every year. The Jets’ MetLife roommates unexpectedly made the playoffs a few years ago with a brand-new head coach. Precedents exist.
It may be an uphill battle, and the odds tend to agree, but the Jets have the same record as everyone else entering the 2025 regular season. They could end the season with a long overdue playoff berth, and taking the odds on that would pay nicely.

Trusting the New York Jets Offense
This is more of a fun one, and putting a lot of faith in Justin Fields and the new coaching staff.
For all of last season’s offensive woes, the team only went two games without finding the endzone. For this bet, defensive and special teams touchdowns also count.
There are some tough defenses looming, such as the Broncos (one of 2024’s TD-less matchups) and the Ravens. However, the Jets came close to 17/17 last year, and it may be worth taking a shot on them to finish perfect in 2025.
