Jets Elevate QB Brady Cook, Safety Dean Clark

With significant injuries at quarterback and safety, the Jets have elevated a pair of undrafted free agents in quarterback Brady Cook and safety Dean Clark.  Both Clark and Cook were mentioned as UDFA’s who had a chance to make the 53-man roster.

Having downgraded safety Tony Adams to OUT earlier today, adding the versatile Clark makes sense.  Then of course at quarterback, the injury prone Tyrod Taylor is getting the nod at center for the concussed Justin Fields, so adding Cook was just a formality.
